Nature Navigator:
Growing Community

To align with our mission of enriching lives through plants and nature, the Garden has committed to increasing community access to our spaces through the Nature Navigator. This program welcomes visitors by removing distance and transportation as one of the most common barriers of inclusion.

The Nature Navigator prioritizes serving community partner groups in Bexar County and surrounding counties. This program not only offers free transportation to visitors from all communities, but also invites program participants to engage in a garden educational program with the options of:

  • Self-guided Tour
  • Garden Tour
  • Planting Program
  • Garden Art Program
  • Cooking Program
  • A Class from our Programs Schedule
